When you order radiator covers from Classic Radiator Cabinets, we deliver and install them for you. Rather than take the chance of sending the radiator cabinets for delivery by an external courier, we save time and money by letting the installer bring them himself. We will usually contact the customer a few days or weeks before the installation date, once we know when the manufacture of them will be completed. We try and specify a firm day solution, but unfortunately cannot pinpoint that down to an exact time. We will always endeavour to indicate whether it will be a morning or afternoon installation time. But beyond that it is difficult to do so. We often find that we can gauge the time an installation will take. But, of course, that is dependant upon the customer in question being in at the time we arrive. If that customer has been delayed by traffic, or the school run, or any number of reasons why we cab be subject to delay, it means that the installation time arrival to the next customer’s house is affected. So that if we say we will be there at 11am and we don’t actually turn up until 1pm, it means we have left that customer annoyed and frustrated. That therefore is the reason why we try and keep the installation time approximate to within half a day. If we find ourselves running late beyond that half day window, we will try at the earliest time to inform the customer of our impending lateness. This gives the customer the opportunity to rearrange events on their schedule to accommodate the Classic Radiator Cabinet fitter, or to agree to reschedule the installation to another day. In our experience, that delay is usually no longer than one or two days.
When the installer comes round to install the customer’s radiator covers, it takes, on average, half hour to fit one. Some can be done quicker, some may take a little longer. What you can rely on though, is that they will be fitted perfectly. When Classic Radiator Cabinets recruit installers, it is a pre requisite that they have relevant joinery experience, so that they are able to do the job properly. Whilst some may claim to have experience, they may not necessarily have experience or basic ability and speed to a level of competence that Classic Radiator Cabinets demand.
