There are three dimensions required for each radiator cabinet being measured by Classic Radiator Cabinets. These are the radiator width, the radiator depth and the radiator height. With width, this is the overall width, measured in millimetres (mm) of the radiator installation including valves, and is taken by measuring from the outside edge of the radiator valve to the outside edge of the opposing radiator valve.
With depth, this is the overall depth, measured in millimetres (mm) of the radiator installation taken from the wall to the outermost edge of the radiator installation. It should be noted that in some cases the outermost edge of the installation may actually be the valve and not the radiator.
With height, this is the overall height, measured in millimetres (mm), of the radiator installation from the floor to the top of the radiator installation at its highest point.
Actual Cabinet size and dimensions
The radiator cabinet will be designed to enclose the radiator installation measured and this design will allow adequate air space around the radiator installation so as not to impair its performance as a convector.
Actual Cabinet Width
The overall external size of the radiator cabinet will be 100mm deeper than the actual overall radiator width allowing for the thickness of the cabinet wall and air gap. The feasibility check also takes into account the 25mm lip of the cabinet top.
Actual Cabinet Depth
The overall external size of the radiator cabinet will be 50mm deeper than the actual radiator depth, allowing for the thickness of the cabinet wall and air gap.
Actual Cabinet Height
The overall external size of the radiator cabinet will be 50mm higher at each end allowing for the thickness of the cabinet wall and air gap.

Maximum and minimum heights.
The minimum height of any radiator cabinet is 550mm and you cannot order any radiator cabinet from Classic Radiator Cabinets lower than this measurement. The maximum height of all radiator cabinet designs  is 1200mm and you cannot order any radiator cabinet from Classic Radiator Cabinets higher than this measurement.
